You captured my heart,
And I believed.
We would love from the start,
But I was deceived.
You said you'd be true,
You lied, yet I stayed.
For months I felt blue,
Like a snake, you persuade.
I love you, I would say,
You would say it too.
But I knew that day,
The lies came from you.

You'd spew your lies,

You liked me for my body, not for my heart.
You had deceived me from the very start.
You'd flirt and galavant, leaving me home alone.
While you danced with other women all on your own.
